Inaugurated by Shri Aslam Shaikh, Hon'ble Minister of Textile, Fisheries and Port Development, Government of Maharashtra, Paperworld India, Corporate Gifts Show and Interior Lifestyle India presented by Ambiente India 2022 concluded on 14 May 2022 with excellent results. The trade fairs registered an outstanding footfall of 14,615 visitors from 230 cities across 27 Indian states and 38 countries and regions, the highest-ever for the show, thanks to its sustainable, innovative and trendy product showcases.
Pleased with the results, Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings, stated: “I am greatly delighted by the exceptional response that the trade-fair trio have generated this year. The scale of business interactions that transpired over the three show days was immense and benefited more than 400 brands who had participated in this edition.”
“Being the first post-pandemic edition, it was a much-needed platform for many exhibitors and visitors who were seeking a new beginning as well as those who are looking ahead to newer growth prospects. The co-located exhibitions displayed “what’s new” in gifting, stationery, homeware, kitchenware and home décor sectors:
Covering the world of school, office and hobby stationery, Paperworld India 2022 hosted world-class stationery brands including – Reynolds, Luxor, Linc, Staedtler, Disney, Dymo, Papermate, Sharpie, Creative Hands, Supra, Lamy, Anchor, Kanex and William Penn.
The exhibition showcased “one-of-a-kind” products, ranging from personalised pens, premium office stationery, smart writing instruments, to rich and artistic products for high-end professional applications.
Witnessing a strong inflow of visitors, Mrs Shilpa Maskara, Director, Creative Hands Art Materials Pvt Ltd, shared: “The experience has been absolutely great. Paperworld India has opened new channels for us. We were able to locate several new dealers including overseas buyers who we could not connect with before. We are looking forward to participating in the next edition with a larger booth.”
Bringing an endless variety of gifting choices under one roof, Corporate Gifts Show 2022 showcased products ranging from smart and multi-purpose electronics, apparel, confectionery, crockery, fashion accessories, creative handicrafts and customised gifting items at its pavilions.
Top brands who participated at the Corporate Gifts Show 2022 included: Adidas, Boat, Seedeer India, Scott International, Attiitude, Bombay Shaving Company, I-Gear, Goqii, Grob, Happilo, Jack & Jones, Kasa Enterprises, Mario Gallery, Mobitech, Monte Carlo, Mouth and Foot Painting Artists Association (MFPA), Only, Reliance Industries, Skechers, Swiss Military, The Messy Corner, United Colours of Benetton, Vero Moda, Vivo, Xech, as well as other companies engaged in corporate merchandising.
Displaying a wide variety of smart electronics on the show floor, Mr Pranay Punjabi, Founder and CEO, Xech Technologies Pvt Ltd, shared his experience as an exhibitor: “We were overwhelmed by the response on all three days. The footfalls were exceptional and greatly surpassed our expectations. It gave us the chance to meet old customers and interact with many new potential buyers. Overall, it was a great experience.”
Held alongside Paperworld India and Corporate Gifts Show, Interior Lifestyle India presented by Ambiente India 2022 introduced an exquisite range of unique and innovative houseware, kitchenware and home décor products from brands like The Chef Story, Basik Innovation LLP, Casa Décor, Jaypee Plus, Lifestyle 360 Degree Pvt. Ltd, Wonderchef Home Appliances, Magnus, RK Plastoware, Vinayak International Housewares, Liza Industries, and Aadyam Handwoven – An Aditya Birla Brand.
Many products were launched at the show which drew the attention of business visitors: “We had launched a ton of new products this year starting from microwave steel containers to casseroles. These new products are made to cater to a new generation of homemakers who are looking for both design and functionality,” shared, Mr Anurag Jain, Director, Jaypee and Jaypee Plus.
“Being a first-time participant, we are very happy with the exhibition. We met heads and decision-makers from many companies, as well as several foreign and corporate buyers which will help us in our business going forward,” Mr Jain further elaborated.

The co-located events were supported by chief industry associations like the Corporate Gifts Association of India (CGAI), Suburban Stationery Vyapari Association (SSVA) and Buying Agents Association (BAA).
Having concluded with flying colours, Paperworld India, Corporate Gifts Show and Interior Lifestyle India presented by Ambiente India will begin a new chapter from 23 – 25 February 2023 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.
